Which digital tools to communicate about your company in 2020?




 Currently, some machines have been removed or simply become useless to give way to collaborative tools. For a work team to be productive and efficient, the use of these machines is essential.


Trello, an undeniable collaborative tool

Trello is a mind-mapping tool. For those who don't know it yet, this concept allows you to build the mental map of a project, a team or a company, but above all to organize your ideas. Indeed, Trello suggests a system of tables with columns and maps.


Often, these cards, representing the tasks to be accomplished, contain a calendar system in order to plan a due date and time, attachments, comments and external links. These cards are therefore to be moved as the project progresses.

Google Hangouts, for a better collaboration

Inserted in the Google application, Google Hangouts is a video conferencing and instant chat tool. Previously known as video bubbles, it is an instant messaging and video conferencing platform that will be launched on May 15, 2013 during the Google/O development conference.

Slack, a popular collaborative tool

Available for both PC and mobile devices, Slack uses "workspaces" that contain spaces made up of "channels". A workspace refers to a company, a team, a work group, while channels are used to organize conversations according to themes. 


Thanks to Slack, it is possible to set up a dedicated news channel. In this way, each service will be able to have its own channel with access rights. However, a general channel is created in order to guarantee interaction with the entire team within the same company. In addition to providing great transparency, Slack marks the break with e-mails that are sometimes too formal.


Google Drive, collaborate on a storage space

Free and accessible, Google Drive is a storage tool available online. Once the Google account is created, you can store content up to 15 GB.


Google Drive is used to create documents, centralize them and store them in shared folders. Sharing folders with other teams gives the collaborative aspect of Google Drive.


On the security side, a double encryption of documents that are stored on Google Drive has been implemented by Google. In case of hacking or interference, the stored data is encrypted once to become unusable. Apart from this encryption, a Drive account is hosted on a few servers around the world. It is the password gathering all the data that guarantees reliable data security.

Perfect to spread messages within a company, many external screens allow to put an end to the old tiresome methods.


By using external screens, you can display all the information you need to know in your company in the form of images or text with animation effects. They can also be used to display professional results. Easy to install, the external screens require specific software to be installed on your Windows PC.
